Foundation

Founded in 2024 by Necia Jones, building on the Jones family’s legacy in real estate and property development.

  • The Jones Community Development Foundation (JCDF) is dedicated to revitalizing and empowering underserved communities through affordable housing development, economic growth initiatives, and community engagement programs. Our mission is to create sustainable, thriving communities where every resident has access to safe housing, economic opportunities, and essential services. 

  • To be a catalyst for positive change, ensuring equitable access to affordable housing, fostering economic development, and improving the quality of life for all residents in Delaware and beyond. 

    • Develop and manage affordable housing projects in underserved areas 

    • Implement programs that support job creation and small business development 

    • Engage residents and stakeholders in shaping community priorities 

    • Secure funding through grants, donations, and partnerships

    • Rehabilitate or build affordable housing units

    • Provide affordable rental and homeownership opportunities

    • Community centers offering access to health, education, and social services
